What these fit: I talked to Ruth Niles and she said that the stoppers are made so that they fit 85% of wine bottles and by having the third ring larger they will fit a large variety of non-wine bottles. The first two rings will fit inside most cork type wine bottles, the larger ring fits inside most screw-on type wine bottles and a large variety of: Oil bottles and Whisky bottles.

The most popular bottle stopper for woodworkers, also used with pottery,  polymer clay, ceramics, antique door knobs and golf balls. A 3/8″ x 16 tpi threaded stud 1/2″ high, machined in one piece.  The top diameter of the stopper is 13/16″  and is 1 1/2″ tall (less the threaded stud).  Use an 11/32″ (For Harwoods or Acrylic) or 5/16″  drill bit for threading the wood.
